Christian Education at Christ Church, Newton

Christian Education is offered from September - June at 9:00 a.m. for children in preschool through high school. Students are divided into age-appropriate groups for instruction. Adults are invited to meet at 9:00 a.m. for a separate program.

Children in grades pre-school through sixth grade follow the "Living the Good News" curriculum which focuses on the gospel reading each Sunday; all children are invited to participate in the annual Christmas pageant, as well as a play which is performed in the spring.

Teens participate in numerous outreach activities throughout the year, culminating in semi-annual Youth Group trips to Panama following the Rite of Confirmation (see video here).

Children are welcome in all aspects of our worship program, and are encouraged to participate as they are able. A professionally-staffed nursery is provided for those children who are not comfortable participating in the entire service.
