Christ Church, Newton, Supports the Interfaith Hospitality Network

scihnmasthead

Christ Church Newton is actively engaged in supporting the Sussex County Interfaith Hospitality Network, as part of our parish mission to be Christ's presence in our community. Approximately 4 weeks out of the year, Christ Church throws open its doors to our homeless neighbors, providing shelter, meals and support to families of all shapes and sizes.

A network of volunteers from local congregations provides emergency shelter, meals and support services to families and single women who are homeless. Volunteers offer encouragement as families in trouble try to survive and stay together.

For information about the Interfaith Hospitality Network, call 973-579-1180 or visit the agency website, at www.helpnjhomeless.org.
